A part of Bdsm is bondage and discipline but what exactly is it and what does it mean?

Bondage & Discipline (B&D) is the initial key aspect out of three which is involved in Bdsm, the other two parts are Dominance & Submission (D&S) and Sadism & Masochism (S&M). Bondage is essentially the most Common activity out of all of the aspects of Bdsm. There are plenty of practitioners, which sites like Free Bondage Dating and Bondage Club can well testify to, with their huge user base.

Unlike the two aspects of Bdsm bondage & discipline are not connected as such however they do share some similarities. Unlike Dominance & Submission and Sadism & Masochism there is certainly no set and defined top & bottom itself, as the activities seem to be general and vague where as the other two aspects appear to be specific in what they are.

Bondage is the practice of physically tying someone up or restricting them  and very often a sexual practice, though it's not always. A crucial part of bondage is trust with both parties, whether tying someone up or someone is tying you up. The bondage doesn’t have to be painful or uncomfortable, it would be as simple as the hands tied to a bed post just prior to sex.

Discipline about mentally training and restricting them using rules and punishment to change behaviour. The form of a punishment can be very different depending on the other person. Some punishments would be consisted of pain caused physically. An additional punishment would be humiliation, it doesn’t have to be public or sexual humiliation and it is very often psychological Rather than physical. Orgasm denial may be an additional type of punishment. For instance the person being punished is teased but not allowed to cum.
