It could be because I'm a former drama student, but I have always liked roleplaying. Not just on stage or in front of cameras, either, but when it comes to relationships and my sex life! I guess I just like to bring a performance aspect to most parts of my life! It probably all explains why I was so intrigued when I found that there was a roleplaying chat site that I could join up with and roleplay with people online via roleplaying webcams and a whole collection of roleplaying chatroom choices. But it was only when I joined it that I realised just how much more was going on with the site besides all this.

I didn't realise, for instance, when I joined it that this was a South African roleplaying chat site. Initially I didn't really think that would make much difference to how much I liked it, but after a while I began to appreciate just how important this point was to me, and quite possibly to many others that are members of the site. I started to meet people through this site that I wanted to meet in real life, not just for roleplaying, because I really liked them and just wanted to get to know them offline. The fact that they are all based in South Africa obviously meant that it was going to be a lot easier to meet them than I might have expected on any other chat site that I could have been a member of.

It has all worked out pretty well for me, too! I have made a number of new friends and I have also managed to snag myself a new boyfriend, too! It really has been an amazing experience being a part of this site, but I think you quickly realise that, actually, the chats here do not all have to be about doing some roleplaying. It's more to do with being surrounded by people who share the same pretty major interest as you and meeting more and more people just like them. It really is all very cool indeed and I really do think that it justifies my internet subscription all by itself - it is that good!
